 Beanie and Bobby Toy Fox Terriers 10 months old My overall experience was excellent with Anissa! I liked the fact that their training was based in obedience and respect, not treat-driven. Our dog result was great. The training made sense that when our dogs are trained, they listen to us better and do what we want. I was totally overwhelmed with our two terriers, and not really enjoying our time together. I believe the training totally helped not only me personally feel better, but also helped our family become better at handling Bobby and Beanie. Anissa was great! She was thorough, very professional and we felt very comfortable with her training us. She was open and honest and not afraid to give us some great suggestions when we ran into some roadblocks.  Samson Italian Mastiff 3 1/2 months old Samson wasn't the only one who learned how to be a owner / pet in Obedient K-9's Puppy Pre-School. The information from the classes was fantastic!  Jake Great Dane 4 months old My overall experience with Obedient K-9's Puppy Pre-School was very good. I really feel I learned a lot about the initial socialization of the dog. The information I received during my initial puppy consultation was also very good, although we didn't really have any big issues except with trash bags and the noise they make. The topics and exercises covered during the weekly group classes during puppy pre-school were excellent. I feel I learned about Jake's initial fears and grew his confidence a little. Mary Jane completed the 10-day boarding program - we were amazed by her progress at the end of the boarding. We noticed changes right away.  Angus Pomeranian Mix 1 year old My vet recommended Obedient K-9. Angus is a rescue dog from the humane society. He was quite a challenge when we first brought him home. The experience was very good.  Patches Great Dane 3 1/2 years old We knew that we had to separate Patches and Sheba if we wanted to get results. Patches and Sheba were puppy mill dogs. They had no idea of how to function outside of a cage, with humans and other animals. Patches was the worst of the two. Anissa was great. Patches now has the confidence she needed and we were able to work with Sheba. They now have smiles on their faces and spring in their steps. Job well done!!  Cody Lab Mix 5 years old I find that, overall, Cody is doing better after going through the program although I feel we still have a lot to work on. I felt the home visit was helpful in learning how to deal with Cody being territorial. Anissa does great at reminding me of the steps to correct Cody. I had a great experience, although I am surprised he ended up graduating when he did when he didn't do so good his last day and we still had several commands to learn, as well as a lot of work to do with our outdoor walks and interaction with other dogs.  Pierre Toy Poodle 5 months old When we inquired with Anissa about training our dog, we were desperate for help! Our little 14-week old puppy had developed some bad behaviors in the crate after getting sick in there. We had lost two nights of sleep and needed some direction. We know Anissa through a family member but live out-of-state. Anissa was kind enough to give us some initial direction for dealing with our situation before we could get into town for her to work with Pierre. Her suggestions helped us manage until then. The results of Pierre staying with her for three days of training were remarkable! We came home with a dog who would calmly sleep in his crate through the night and who rested in his crate while were were away from home. Neither of these things were happening before the training. Also, Pierre learned to heel so we can all enjoy his walks and to automatically sit when we stop. My wife and I were referred to Obedient K-9 by my sister-in-law. Our primary reason for seeking the dog training was for the purpose of getting Pierre (our dog) to rest in his crate. After a few days with Obedient K-9, Pierre was much happier in his crate and even began sleeping in there. Overall, we were very satisfied with our experience. Our experience with Anissa was great. She was full of great tips and helpful advice concerning our dog.  Jake Chihuahua 18 months old I contacted Obedient K-9 as a last resort because Jake was a biter and, sadly, my only other option was to have him put down. Anissa gave me several tips after our evaluation for changing my habits to help begin dealing with Jake's issues. Then I had Obedient K-9 take him for a week for their one-on-one basic obedience residency program and he came back to me as a totally different dog. I've had family, friends, and neighbors all comment on his incredible change in personality.  Raeden Doberman Pinscher 4 months old I went through Obedient K-9's puppy pre-school and was very happy with what I learned in the classes, so I had the trainer evaluate my puppy for obedience training and in just a few minutes she had him staying in place and ignoring all the other people who were around him at a meeting that I was attending. I signed up for the 10-day Residency Program and in the first week she already had him in better control, he is more focused, and he understands all of his basic commands.
